H64SF

This is the H64SF [Handgun, Model 64, Selective Fire], a weapon that combines the select-fire capabilities of a rifle and the compact frame of a pistol. The H64SF does not have a semi-automatic fire mode, instead opting for either two-round burst or fully automatic fire.

To make the recoil more manageable, a lot of extra weight has been put into the front end of the weapon. Additionally, the weapon is chambered in 9x19mm, a relatively low-recoil round. The vents on the sides of the muzzle and the top of the slide also help redirect the gas from firing the weapon to assist with recoil management.

The H64SF was designed at the request of a certain military HQ radio operator, and was made to keep him and others like him safe in the event that headquarters get overrun. Even though the H64SF was intended to be a just-in-case sidearm for troops who don't normally see combat up close, the weapon has also become popular among CQC specialists who need a sidearm with overwhelming power in a pinch.
